Q. Why should I choose Budapest Vacation Service?
A. Because every apartment on our pages has been personally visited by us and checked for Comfort, Decor, Amenities, Cleanliness and Excellent Value. Booking with Budapest Vacation Service also means that you will be dealing directly with the apartment owners or their appointed management company in Budapest.

Q. Why can't I make an 'instant' on-line booking?
A. We need to verify the availability of the apartment with the owner to be absolutely certain that his or her availability calendar is updated and correct, and in that way we can avoid double-bookings or any other problems, which can, (and sometimes do), occur with instant on-line bookings.

Q. What happens after I have submitted the enquiry/reservation form?
A. We will notify the apartment owner and confirm availability of the apartment you have selected and will then contact you to answer your questions and/or complete the reservation procedure.

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit with my reservation?
A. That depends on the apartment owner's policy. Please check 'Terms' section in the rate table on the page where the apartment is listed.

Q. Do you charge for your reservation services?
A. No, there is absolutely no charge to you for using our services and we do not charge a booking fee.

Q. What do the published rates include?
A. Our rates are fully inclusive of bed linens, towels, taxes and final cleaning. Unless otherwise specified, the published nightly rate is exactly what you will pay.

Q. What is the best way to get from the airport to the apartment?
A. Please see the options on our Visitor Advice page or book your transfer using the online form here or on this page.

Q. How and when should I pay for the accommodation?
A. The accommodation payment should be made in full, less any deposit that you may have already paid, in the currency specified in your confirmation, upon arrival at the apartment and you will receive a receipt for your payment at that time. In the case where you would prefer to pay in a different currency, please specify this with your reservation.

Q. What are the check-in/check-out times?
A. Usual check-in time is 2 p.m. and check-out 11 a.m. We will always try to be as flexible as possible if these times do not suit your arrival/departure schedule.

Q. What happens if there is a technical problem in the apartment?
A. Once we have been notified, either we or the owners management company will take the necessary action to solve the problem.
